I'm not a big fan of solid state amps to be honest, but I do like this one a lot. It has reverb, tremolo, and distortion. The distortion is an on/off volume pot and I basically just turn it on to it's lowest setting, which gives it a little vibe/bite to dig into. Short of delay, chorus, or what have you this amp is good to go as is...

No pedals needed all I use is reverb and distortion.....simple Pie Man....that amp---is the $HIT .
