Xmas Gear Show-Off

Too bad to hear he passed away. I remember him being a nice guy. I worked at their rehearsal space driving the elevator and collecting rent from the bands for a little while. Mainly to pay off some gear I got from Buff.

You’ve probably met a couple of people I’ve known over the years….a friend, Denny, used to have the same task…others rented space there…

Me and my bride did a different sort of gift exchange this year. We gifted each other this:

We left beautiful sunny Northern Illinois and near 50 degree temps a week ago….. no snow on the ground……spend time in sunny FL….. to come back home to this…… Karma???

We came home a couple days ago. In the middle of all those flight cancellations that been happening. That wasn’t our problem. Getting out of Charlotte to fly to O’Hare got delayed an hour due to it snowing in Chi- Town. We live about an hour north of the airport, but the drive was fine. I think we ended with an inch of very wet snow. Snowed again overnight. Maybe another couple. Sounds like Sat/Sun could be a bit more of an event with potential of several inches. Oh well. At least we got to sit on a Sandy beach for a few days. Get a little Sun on those snowy white legs of mine.

Steve, it’s my first one and may not be my last. The attention to detail and quality is just outstanding. The neck is just perfect for my hand too.

At least you got to enjoy a sunny break, ib! We have had nothing but overcast damp mildness for the past week... we even had a green Xmas here in TO!
