Right on man! I think maybe the best part will be that I can walk all the way to the beer fridge without having to hang up the guitar for a minute. In fact, that may just end up being my new "spot": planted right next to the beer fridge! To be honest mcblink, its one of the best purchases I have ever made! Make sure you charge them fully before using. As soon as you see the blue lights blinking or go out charge up right away. Don't panic when recharging they take about 3 hours to fully charge back up. I get about 10-12 hours out of them before a recharge.![]()
Was he originally over by the golf course near the Brockton/Easton line? I remember a shop there with a bunch of vintage amps about 25-30 years ago. I wished I had money back then, as there were so many cool amps, but just out of my reach at the time.About 15 minutes away from me…I got my Dual Rec from Matt…almost 20 years ago now. Matt was an alright guy…always knew the gear.

You could call it “well rounded”, as oppose to stainless steel strings. Those would be “harsh” and “bright.”Tubes - stock up now they say! Nice stuff!
I wonder about the marketing on the Rotos. I never associate "warm" with "bright"
Nope….I think you may be thinking of the place where I picked up my Tiny Terror…now called Boston Guitar Works…has now moved over near Bettencourt’s Honda(etc), in West Bridgewater (near Brockton…and Monte’s Cycle Shop). Is he the same Matt who worked at Factory Music in Rockland in the mid-late eighties, then bought it when the owner decided to retire from retail? I remember they would buy up one of all the new things at Namm to have in inventory, then use that as leverage to have their customers go to Daddy's and Wurlitzer to get them to match Factory's price. I did it with my ART Multiverb and a couple of other things.Nope….I think you may be thinking of the place where I picked up my Tiny Terror…now called Boston Guitar Works…has now moved over near Bettencourt’s Honda(etc), in West Bridgewater (near Brockton…and Monte’s Cycle Shop). Matt had 3 locations at one point; started in Hanover, added his first Weymouth location, and added a small shop in Kingston….eventually he consolidated everything to the one(current) Weymouth location. He is no longer with us.
Awesome, eSGEe!!! Now I'm seriously jealous... I've always wanted to get a "Taco Factory" t-shirt! Oh, you meant THE Flying V... oooopsie!

But seriously, congrats on that Epi V, it's gorgeous!Ah, the endless teasing... tsk, tsk, tsk... But seriously, when was your parcel supposed to arrive?that Bob Smith glue is good stuff..
I keep mine in a glass jar filled about1/3 with dry white rice.
The rice absorbs moisture; the moisture in the air is the catalyst that cures CA glue, from what I have read.
Still need to wipe the tip thoroughly so the cap doesnt stick - dont ask me how I know.
I got this:

Too bad to hear he passed away. I remember him being a nice guy. I worked at their rehearsal space driving the elevator and collecting rent from the bands for a little while. Mainly to pay off some gear I got from Buff.Yes…Matt bought Factory from Buff…early 90s.
Expected delivery date was Fri. Dec. 24. I've had stuff come late, and the tracking hadn't been updated.Ah, the endless teasing... tsk, tsk, tsk... But seriously, when was your parcel supposed to arrive?
