Would you buy a Les Paul from Sweetwater?

Sure I'd buy from them , certainly better than Musicians Friend these days by miles. But like @WavMixer said, I'd be cautious anytime buying something without first laying my eyes upon it or trying one out before hand ( sight unseen). I HAVE bought a guitar like this before ( the Black flame top Explorer I play) but that was incredibly high risk on my part to be honest: i had never held it or heard it and yet i bought it. Luckily, it was everything I hoped it would be and that was blind faith lol

GAS is about to get the best of me. I've been thinking about a "good" LP for a while now. Today I was nosing around Sweetwaters web site and came across this and I didn't even know they made these. My GAS meter pegged when I saw it! There's nowhere around that has one in stock that I could go and play so I would be buying on line if I want one. I've heard nothing but great things about Sweetwater, but I'm afraid to buy a guitar without being able to check it out and play it first, especially for that kind of cash. Would you do it?

Call a sales agent (Ian Roegels is good) & see if they can help you out with a video or something. Customer service is top notch there.

No Epis, no PRS, no Godins...I want a Gibson. I already have a Tribute so I don't want another and I don't want a Studio... I want the real deal.

oh never mind --- DAMN THE TORPEDOS FULL GOLD TOP AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned 2 Godins before, one Canadian and one USA both from the 90s. They are very nice guitars Godins are and I have nothing against them, I'm just in the market for a Les paul right now. I was originally looking at the traditionals and I may go back to that before it's over, but when I saw that one today I got all excited about it.

Agree, their customer service is excellent. My sales agent calls me at least once a month to see how things are going. He called last month to give me a heads up that the prices will be going up in a few weeks, if I was on the fence about anything.

I get it for sure. I was not in the market for either a new or used guitar till I saw this Strat in Sweetwater. Serious GAS. They had 3-4 in stock. Chose the one I wanted from their photo. gallery. A few day later it came home to live with me and the other kids.
