These were the king of the day in 1972 Trident... The 3 cylinder 2 stroke 750 Kawi. This was the quater mile king.

I had a KZ 1000--- for a short while---let a friend borrow it to go get beer--- sadly he drank a couple before the return trip and well.....trees and KAWIS dont get along -- he lived--- I wanted to kill him though...

I say no because I dont realy care for eather. I think both are way overrated but each to his own.
I'll take a honda shadow 1100 over a harley any day and an explorer over LP any day. I personally think LP's are ugly and Harley is over priced for what you get. Each to there own I'm not judging that's just my opinion

I had both the 500 & 750...... They were screamers.. My 500 will kill the 750... A tad lighter n 1/4 mile was nasty..
Those 2 strokes were monsters..
The 500 was fast as well. These 2 strokes remind me of my 1972 Yamaha RD 350B for a 350cc class it smoked it just loved the revs, just like the Kawis and loved the blue smoke...

Ive owned so many ive lost track (well over 20 bikes )--
I recall the entire time I owned (and wrenched) on my "motorcompany" product-- I also owned one of these-
SUZUKI 1400 intruder-- it out performed the other product 10 fold -- and in 5 years I never touched it with wrench --- it started-- it ran -- it blew the doors off anything cruiser oriented --- I liked it so much (after I wrecked the Harley -- the wife didnt want to ride anymore and I couldnt justify 2 bikes--she said "you said if you wrecked it you'd get rid of it" ) so I DID--I sold "her" Suzuki-- and traded my Harley even up for a brand new
Suzuki Marauder.... there are many reasons she is an EX WIFE-- the battle over my returning home with this was one of them --- I pointed out I KEPT MY PROMISE -- "I wrecked the Harley -- so......I GOT RID OF IT!" --- I never said I wouldnt get another
IF -- for some unknown reason I was to sell the Tiger and go back to a Cruiser the Marauder would be it -- best handling most comfortable bike (next to the Tiger) Ive ever owned--- had mine 6 years--- I put a battery and front brake pads and tires on it --- otherwise DEAD reliable zero issues---
