Wise words from Shane

I live to play music, so I'm not into acquiring gear. I just need enough to perform.
He thanks them for "sending it out" .... but I dont think he ever sys its a PAID video.

His comments in the AMpero video also contradict his personal "findings" ..... I like Shane not busting his balls (even though he talks funny ) just showing how the conflicting information can certainly permiate the airwaves so to speak.

buy-- try-- and create your OWN opinions...... and your own unique tones that make you smile .......... sod the rest :)

I have a 60.00 VOX Pathfinder SS amp 10 watts 6.5 inch speaker -- throw a reverb pedal in front and it makes me gigle every time I play it because it just sounds WONDERFUL
to me
in my ROOM
and for my uses

would it play the Hollywood Bowl fronting for Motley Crew ??? no never -- what MORON would compare the gear needed for THAT with the gear used for Sunday afternoon noodling in a small spare bedroom???? -- sadly the answer to that is the MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET -- :(

Bedroom noodler rig....

That's too much power for this bedroom noodler. This is way more than enough for me. This little gem here the Blackstar Fly 3, can still make enough noise to hurt my ears.View attachment 73919View attachment 73920

I'm not known as El Extremo for nothing

I live to play music, so I'm not into acquiring gear. I just need enough to perform.
I try to avoid the need for effects pedals completely.
I don't like foot switches.
I have a plug in and play mindset.
If the amp doesn't do it all by itself, it's the wrong amp.

There are a couple effects pedals I like. But I'm not building the whole thing based on effects pedals.
I'm doing the opposite.
I got sick of effects pedals when I was growing up. Got tired of all the complications.
I just want to play, and that's all.

My sonic palette is so varied - and the music that I play so varied- that no amp alone can do it.
