The metal music never gets turned on around here...
That is sad to hear. Let reverend Evil preach to you from the good book.
I remember my rock n roll bible teachings. From the book of metal.
Dee Snyder 3:21 -
“It's an angry steed on a never ending course
With grace and speed, it's an unrelenting force
Its head thrown back, defiantly proud
Under constant attack, it's blasting fast and loud
Now you can ride it high
And you can light the way
Lift up your hands in praise
You can't stop Rock and Roll!”

Twisted Sister don't play Rock and Roll. Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry played Rock and Roll...

Yes, Holly and Berry (sounds so Christmas themed) did play Rock and Roll, they are from the old testament. Without them and others like them there wouldn't be Metal.
Hence why I quoted a passage from the New Testament, the book of Metal.
And, dare I say at the risk of incurring someone's wrath (been there, done that countless times, on and off air) that even way before messrs. Berry and Holly were conceived, there were the Robert Johnsons and Blind Lemons and WIllies, and Memphis Minnies and Pink Andersons (yes, THAT Pink) and Floyd Councils (yes, THAT Floyd) and Charley Pattons and Ma Raineys... It all circles back to the universally recognized roots of Rock and anything thereafter: straight, sufferin', soulful Blues. If you dont believe me, ask the true granddaddies of all things Metal: Tommy, Geezer, Ozzy and Bill.
