Okay, ya'll...

First, let me just say...I likes me some good metal.

Gimme some o' that hard-core "chugga-chugga-lugga"...and I'm a happy boy.

But, seriously...I just ran into this old video and it makes me think...Blues is still king.

Blues transcends the instrument. You can do it with just a good vocal.

For whatever reason, it even transcends race, age, and gender.

Perhaps the answer Schmitlap my Friend is that METAl.....got that CHugga Chugga ........from the BLUES all rooted in that groove man Metals just fast blues with craploads of distortion

This is from the movie, "The Blues Brothers". I often watch the movie online, and always look forward to this scene with anticipation. It's a great piece and showcases the universal appeal of a good blues tune.
