We don't know when Keef was born or started playing, legend has it that he was already sitting there strumming, waiting for the rest of the Stones when the Romans showed up...![]()

Scotty Moore
All these Keef jokes are old.
So is Keef….All these Keef jokes are old.
Yeah. He's a tad bit older than me.So is Keef….

Would concur. And while he hasn’t added much of late, gotta add @Mitch Pearrow SJMP to this list.It would have been a no brainer if the original question had been "Who here at TTR is on your Mount Riffmore?"
Short riffs, long riffs, or full songs, I give a nod to
@Headache
@Mouse
@frostyjr2
@BFT Gibson
Add in @C-Grin who’s been posting some pretty awesome riffage as well.Would concur. And while he hasn’t added much of late, gotta add @Mitch Pearrow SJMP to this list.
Then there is a chance your little red wagon was made out of wood and stone?Yeah. He's a tad bit older than me.![]()
Indeed.If you think Mr. Clark is a country bumpkin that can’t play a guitar, you’ve got another think coming.
never underestimate the player in music you don’t like.
Frank Zappa kept popping up on my list as well, I’m a big Zappa fanboy. I think we can all agree that 4 just isn’t enough. Headache is a cruel individual, cruel I say!I wasn't sure if @Headache was looking for guitarists known primarily for memorable riffs, or for guitarists with "technical" skills.
Going with riffage, the four I selected were Keith Richards, Page, Townsend, and Iommi.
Tough to limit guitarists who have influenced / inspired me on a more "technical" basis to just four, but they'd include Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Peter Frampton.
And expanding that list would be almost endless, including Bill Nelson, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, Toy Caldwell, Les Paul, and countless others.

Glen played a lot of Ovation guitars. Even had a signature Ovation. While my first guitar was a Yamaha 12 string, my first 6-string was an Ovation and he'd be why.Is that guitar Glen Campbell is playing made by Ovation? The head stock looks like one of theirs. Dam it’s good to see that old stuff!
And something I learned recently watching a video of Glen. I've known that acoustic Ovations were the guitar of chooice of his.... well..... forever. I did not know till recently he also played a solid body electric. Wanna see some potentially odd shaped bodies? Check our Ovation Electric Solid Bodies.Glen played a lot of Ovation guitars.
