That 2014 is a Guitar Center special order custom with the "flower pot " inlay in the headstock.I wanted one of those a while back.
Trap inlays, but the one I liked was the Block inlay version.
I have a 2007 Supreme. The sound and craftsmanship are excellent. Has 490R and 498T pups.The Supreme's were thicker and had a carved maple back also.

I'm not sure why they are changing the headstock.I like DonO's Supreme's headstock way better than those that ibmorjamn posted.
Likely Cheaper to make if I can venture a guess.I'm not sure why they are changing the headstock.
Mine is a July 2021 build, Les Paul 50's Standard Gold Top, purchased brand new in November 2021 for $2,998.56 out-the-door.Robert/ Inspector #20 and gball have both purchased recent LP's. Maybe not 2023, but 2021-2022's I believe, and both of these guys are very happy with the instruments they got.

@Don O - has played this one.
Since purchase, i have done no modifications except Dunlop Straplocks using the "correctly sized" screws by MojoAxe.
As far as adjustments are concerned, i set the pickup pole pieces to my preferred stagger and made a slight intonation adjustment, both to my tastes, but the guitar was simply perfect in every way the day i took it out of the case.

@gball AND we can't forget your non current LP, The old gal, SilverburstCorrect. For recent builds I have a 2019 Special, 2020 Standard '50s, 2022 Classic and a 2023 Studio.
They are all exceptional in fit/finish and most importantly playability. They all have exactly the tone each of them should IMO, which is of course different guitar to guitar.
I have made small mods to each (for example, I am in the haters club when it comes to the fake ABR bridges that Gibson is using so I replace those with Nashvilles, put on proper modern tuners in place of the Deluxe ones, etc.)
Perhaps the OPs question should more accurately be "what's right about them?" instead of "what's wrong?" because there are very few negatives.
