White Stuff

Glad we have not had any significant snowfall here so far.
I dont hate snow itself, and the dogs love tromping through it.

But the shoveling and the driving hassle - mainly because it is so crowded here with lots of moron drivers in any weather, uhm, no thanks.

Roger that on moronic drivers. Living here in the NE Illinois northern burbs of Chicago.... we get a pretty big transient population. People that obviously came from states with little or no snow. And you can tell who they are. I was born, raised and have lived in the northern 1/3 of Illinois my entire life. I yawn at 2-3 inches of snow. It’s gotta be near blizzard before I start getting nervous about driving. And it’s those days I just wish those idiots would stay home and off the roads.

I grew up in Montana and we always had snow, from early November through March/April. We had a four year cycle when I was growing up where year one would be super heavy in snow and then it would taper off for the next three, then repeat. Grew up with snowmobiles, sledding, driving in snow, and just generally having fun with it.

My old home hasn't seen snow in about five years now, and when it does snow, where in the past a light year would see at least a foot and a half, they get a dusting that goes away after a few days. Times have changed. I've since moved from the area and haven't really seen snow in about ten years.

"No snow here in Hawaii, just a little icy on the road."

It sounds to me like (what I call The Rain Bird Warriors)
I don’t think they can drive in any weather.
Cheers
