My Red Rocks story didn’t have a happy ending. Sorta. On vacation in Colorado in the 90s, we went to a Red Rocks just to tour it. Pretty cool. And the acoustics. Yikes. Amazing.

Couple days later we were camping in a YMCA camp on the west side of the National Park. On our drive from the camp to Estes Park we stopped in a small town. In checking out one of the stores we saw a closed for the day sign. They were at Red Rocks for a CSN concert. What is it Maxwell Smart said??

“Missed it by that much.” Sigh.

Here I am driving a friends beast of a car, a 67 427 3x2. Watch the tach jump when the vacuum operated outer carbs open. Damn thing jumped from about 3K to 6K in a heart beat.
