I actually like gold hardware but only have gold on one guitar. The Ovation I bought way back in the 70s.

I told you to send them to me years ago when you insisted and you never did! I have some anyway, I tried them on it, but they don't look as good as the gold knobs.

Well, now I'm thinking about just selling it and getting something better. I have 2 Tributes. If I was smart I should just sell both of them. I have my Traditional that gets most of the play time anyway. Playing either one of my Tributes for a while just makes me appreciate my Traditional that much more. I really don't need more than one Les Paul with humbuckers, what I do need/want is a Les Paul with P90s. I have a Tele bridge sized p90 on the way for my Tele, but I don't think it's going to be enough to scratch the itch.

The only reason I keep thinking I need to keep the Satin Honeyburst is because of the neck profile, but I've gotten so used to the bigger neck on my Traditional now that it doesn't even matter anymore, I just still have that stuck in my head.

I will admit that when I put my 2013 Tribute back together last week I my intention was to sell this Honeyburst, but then when I got it put back together it sounds better and has a better neck profile than my 2013 so I shifted gears and decided to sell that one instead, but now I think maybe I just need to let them both go and get something I'll really like instead.

I'm probably going to be looking for either a Gold Top or a Pelham Blue Classic with P90s or mini HBs I can swap out for p90s..

I'm not surprised. I have posted this on another forum also and there has been more discussion over there about both of my Tributes. I tried to put it in a nutshell here, but I got confused and I'm not sure it came out in a way it makes sense. Probably because my second shot of tequila kicked in about halfway through making that post.
