Which Wah?

Your description of the Vox 847 makes me want one of those. I have a Crybaby now, and hear some of that harshness. I’ve wondered about the mini wahs, too. But decided the full-size units would provide a better sense of control over the sweep.

Completely unrelated, I notice your avatar says, “Escaped from Whitby Psych Hospital.”

That’s funny! I assume you mean that as a reference to Whitby Sanitarium, featured in Bram Stoker’s novel, Count Dracula. If you’ve escaped from it, that must mean you’re Renfield!
Smitty,

I am referring to the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital where I live (Whitby, Ontario, Canada). Most of the original hospital and group living cottages are gone now. It has been updated and renamed to Ontario Shores Mental Health Centre.
The Bram Stoker reference is much more interesting and entertaining though!

Ahhh...I see.

If you like old movies, I suggest watching the 1931 Count Dracula movie with Bela Lugosi. You’ll understand my Whitby assumption, and my reference to Renfield.

Admittedly, there are several storyline departures between the 1931 Count Dracula movie and the Bram Stoker novel. The 1931 movie is actually an adaptation of a play which was an adaptation of the novel.

The 1992 movie, “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” is actually more faithful to the novel, but parts of it toward the end get a little laborious, in my opinion.

I prefer the 1931 movie, even though it differs rather substantially from the novel in parts.
