Which wah do you use?

There are so many choices out there! I was wondering what everyones favorite wah is. Ive tried several.

My current wah (and will probably always be "my" wah) is a morley bad horsie 2. Its optical so its no pot to wear out. It also has a contour stomp switch and knob so you can shape the wah voice even more.

It varies from month to month Depending on full band rehearsal schedule...

I bought a Cry Baby in the late 80s. Recently, I got a Beringer Hellbabe wah. OMG! It's optical and has a ton of tone controls and a boost. Part of it is plastic, but it is very resilient. I bought it used and it was cheap as dirt. I like this one very much. (I'm not a fan of Behringer)

I have a Morley Dragon 2 David Lynch signature wah.

Built like a tank (one reason why I never use it, it's too difficult to lug to practice) but a cool sound.

Did you do the dual inductor mod? Doesn't look like it in the picture.

I'm not a big Wah user, I just use an old average garden variety Vox.

I am interested in Wah still; want to do some early Cream White Room, Tales of Great Ulysses type stuff but also to leave cocked for that early UFO Michael Schenker type tone.

I've been using a base-model CryBaby for as long as I can remember. On my second one now, and before that was a D'Armond Weeper which sounded amazing but was made of cheap pressed steel and didn't last long.

I use a Teese Wizard Wah which is based on the old Clyde McCoy Vox wahs of the sixties. I also use a heavily modified Cry-Baby have has a Fasel inductor and some other mods. Both sound great, and I switch back and forth all the time.

Sometimes, I'll plug in one of my other Cry-Babies or my old '70s Morley Power Wah for the heck of it. Just to make sure they still work. I love the Morley, but it's huge. Definitely can't miss that giant piece of chrome on a dark stage.

The modified Cry-Baby is on the left. It's beat up, but sounds great.
