The scenario is a fantasy life or death situation, a forced choice (like "F", marry, kill, if you are familiar with that game). You must choose which you will never see again.

The choice will not yeild any benefit other than to save your life. Money paid or the market price may not be considered.

In making your decision, you may consider cars and guitars you have owned or always wished to own.

So which do you choose, your #1 car or your #1 guitar?

I don't even have a license, so no car for me. But I guess my opinion doesn't count.:)

But seriously, a life without a guitar? No thanks.

A car is a very practical tool for me to get to point A to B. Guitar is kind of the same, ergonomic piece of wood that sounds good through an amp.
I've never owned classic valuable car or guitar, so both could go and I'd survive
I can't vote.

Garhr, it is only your dream guitar or car that you must part with. You can still have a guitar or car for purposes of this vote.

Oh. I don't have a dream version of either. They are both tools for a job. I'm going to remove my vote. No I'm not - it won't let me. I can only change my vote. Hmm. Please mentally subtract a guitar vote.

Cars have always been a hobby of mine and I love them. To be able to have a dream car to cruise in would satisfy me more than a dream guitar.
At my level of playing just about any guitar will do...

So Dream Guitar Goes...

Car, without a second thought.

I've owned a couple cars that I'd lusted over and found that they really don't satisfy me in any meaningful way - I just end up lamenting all the money that I feel I have wasted on them. Besides, I don't even like driving and I can bike to work (would probably make me happier anyway).

Guitars though, have never failed to make my life better.

This is a no brainer for me. I paid cash for my Tundra and I love it. I can replace a guitar but I cant replace my truck.

I've changed my vote...I have had what I consider my dream car and it has grown old on me. I've also owned many muscle cars of the 60's.

Since it can be any guitar that I could possess I would like to have the dream guitar and just a regular car...

I used to have a dream car, but then life got so expensive and the cost of just enjoying a dream car got to be another detractor. Then there is the insuring the car just for the right to drive it, tax, tags, emissions costs, repair costs.

As for a dream guitar, I see only the cost of string changes and minimal other potential electrical parts repairs.
SO, I guess it makes sense the car is more of a drain on dollars I already have too few of.

Hello guitar.
