When Ed Met Ted

Thanks for sharing. I'm not surprised at all by Teddy boys' behavior. I love Ted's guitar playing and ability to do well in business. He is a bit of a bully. I like it when he just shuts up and jams! ( The is a really good album). Eddie and Teddy are both awesome guitar guys. I want to get the record Ted has with the tied up chick with a grenade in her mouth, ( She might even be laying on a railroad track).
 
I am confused. Is the little black box a metaphor for EVH's talent, or was he referring to something tangible?

From what I got from the article, Ted wanted to see a gizmo to get the tone VH gets with his "magic fingers". I like these guys but, I've yet to build a "Hendrix" altar to worship them with.

I really think the exchange, though crass to read, was really meant in fun.

Anyhoo, I used to gig out more than I do now, but it's not uncommon for musicians to bust on one another in fun.

I actually read that article with a smile. It shows comaraderie to me. I didn't read any animosity into it.
 
in 78 EVH was a punk kid-- Ted was "established" --- he was just "hazing" the upstart---- simple --nothing more.

That and Ted has more balls than brains.....not really a combination I dislike in a fellow --- but I like to KNOW that is the side he walks if hes on my side-- capisci ? ;)

and then he would ask for no green M&M's and ........where was I?
 
I like Ted's guitar playing but not the person himself. I read a story about him autographing some fan's guitar but he wouldn't give it back because he wanted money for his autograph. What a tool! I think Ted is a pedophile...he likes 'em young and tight. Check out the lyrics to "Cat Scratch Fever"...it says it all.:wink:

I believe it's the truth about good ol' Teddy Boy. I think the Rolling Stones had some very young groupies. I remember reading somewhere that Mick Jagger slept with Mackenzie Phillips when she was 15.:eek: You also forgot to post a video of "Brown Sugar" which is based on a young black girl there Tony Manhattan...who's a splattin'.:D
