Whats Your Song Of The Day.

I guess this'un. In my "third band" side band, the idea is to do covers of songs done by women, since our lead singer is that. But to break up the set, at practice on Sunday we decided I'll sing this Tom Petty song, with her on backing vocals. Since my experience singing lead is pretty much limited to singing loud punk rock and roll originals in my main band (and a predecessor similar band in the mid-'90s), this'll be kind of a big step for me. Totally different singing style.

I love the song though.

 
This has been going through my head in my anticipation to seeing the Bags this Saturday in Somerville.

Oh, I was at the 2006 show that the live footage played under the music was filmed. Great band.
