What's your main dirt pedal?

The Maestro MFZ-1. Whether through my 2204, my Champ, or my Mustang Modeler, this is my cornerstone. I used to boost it with the Fuzz Face, but now I use a Bad Monkey or Maxon OD808, drive low, volume high.

 
That would be either the Bad Monkey and/or Keeley Fuzz Head.

I don't use one. Just the MXR/CAE MC401 Boost/Linedriver set at 9 o'clock running into the lead channel of my Peavey 6534+ with the pre gain set at between 11 o'clock and noon. Don't really need more than that.

I will admit that my pickups are pretty hot, but most of it is the lead channel preamp
 

I prefer my Boss ME-80 but I'm also guilty of plugging into this when I need to quench the neverending thirst for obscene metal destruction and unbridaled mayhem . . . I usually don't comment with such intensity but . . . hey man . . . we're talking metal, right?
