I've yet to use a WGS speaker I haven't liked.

Why is it in a box if its your favorite?
I replaced mine with a Ragin Cajun in my Rocker 15, so mine is also in a box, but it does sound good

I have 3 amps with 10" Fender Super Reverb with 4 JBL speakers a 1960 Fender Concert 4 10" Jensen speakers
they sound good 1983 Fender Super Champ single 10" not so great would take 12" speaker over a 10" any day

I've tried many 10" speakers over the years and I guess my favorite out of the ones I've tried would be the WGS Veteran 20.

Second would be the Eminence C-Rex.

Biggest I've seen is about 6'...(like in back to the future) I can't imagine a 10'

Yup! New Ten Inch Speaker Day, ha ha!

I wanted to try an alnico spiced speaker for my Allen Amp Chihuahua… A single ended 6 watter with a 6V6, or 10 watts with a 6L6/EL34. The amp originally came with a 10” Eminence Copperhead: ferrite/ceramic magnet, 75 watt rating, 105 Hz resonance, 80 Hz - 4.5 kHz frequency range, 98.8 dB sensitivity, polymide coil former, & 4.5 lbs. Very nice and even range speaker.

But since the Chihuahua is loosely based on a Blackface Champ, I was wondering what an alnico based speaker might bring to the party. I’m looking for more chime and snappiness. Allow me...

I actually prefer 10s to 12s and have tried pretty much everything. My favorite is the Creamback 10. By a wide margin.

Because I can't take a picture of it in the amp, because the amp has a closed back.

This is an awesone 10" speaker, you would not know it's a 10". The one I came back to for good practice volume and pretty good versatility (after I absolutely trashed it when I first got my Ori 20) is the 10" V type.
