The worst I ever tried was Elephant beer. It was awful. It was 15% alcohol though. I don't know if it's still available.

Coors Lite is pretty bad too.

Was it Carlsberg Elephant?
If so, its still widely available today. I actually tried one at the beach last year. On the strong side but not my thing. Regular Carlsberg I do like however.
