Whats a guitar outside of your normal flavor that you'd love to have?

Yeah mine is a '50s. It is my favorite guitar I have ever owned. And I've owned some nice guitars.

He’s right, can get a really nice doom metal tone or stoner/sludge rock tone. Been years since I messed around with a p90 loaded axe. But when I did it was a Gibson les Paul special (if I’m not mistaken) with p90’s hooked it up to an Orange Crush and the blues tone I got was killer!

In general... P-90 clean tones are much more bolder than the Fender single coil style. Not as thick as a humbucker. Overdriven... P-90s are very vicious and less prone to humbucker mud if the amp isn't dialed in right. BTW, I love them all but P-90s are my favorite type of pickups.
