Whats a guitar outside of your normal flavor that you'd love to have?

I am having issues thinkjng about this thread.
Guitars I'd love to have, there are still lots left.

But, outside my normal flavor is the hard part. Teles are outside my normal likes, and I don't want one either.

I have hollow bodies, I would like a Dean ML, I would take a Hamer something, a flying V.... but those are all within my normal comfort level. I like pointy guitars.
Possibly some other hollow body thing of some sort.
Because you are hard rocker :dood: :dood: :dood:

I don't have any guitars with Filtertrons. Really wish I had an electric twelve-string, too.

The one real oddball I've wanted for decades is a Coral sitar guitar. Or even a Chinese repro of one.
Like the twelve-string, it isn't a sound I'd use often and they're a pain in the ass to tune.
But I'd sure love to have one in my armory.

It's also been more than forty years since I owned a Rickenbacker six-string.

I have been GASsing for this because it is a tier up from the budget gear I have, and the sculpted neck heel.
It is out of my zone because of the $$$$.

I love LPs but the Single cut + blocky neck heel is restrictive way up there.
I have 2 cheapy AXL LP types that have a similar sculpted neck heel shape.
It helps a good bit but its not like an SG.

Agile AL-3200MCC Lemon Burst Flame Advanced Order 12/21

I often mention I am a cheapskate / have all budget gear.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I COULD buy a $600- $1k+ guitar and make payments but
if I dont have the cash, I really dont NEED it.

I still may sell a few things and add cash for that Agile next year.

Wish ya luck bud, its nice!

You rang sir?

The onlyvtelebI ever agreed with was the Kotzen Tele. And boy, did we agree. It was what the Tele should have been fromnthe start, baseball bat neck and contoured body.
Never tried a Kotzen model, I hear they are nice. The neck on my Baja is chunky, no contours, but it only weighs 6 lbs 13 oz (3.08 Kg), and is a joy to play.

Oh, and you're a heathen too. :flame:

I actuallyvliked the Baja too when I played one. The 50's? has one of the nicest necks I've ever played onnany guitar. I'd say the the Baja is more bang for the buck than the Kotzen.
