What would you do?

So I have been presented with a pretty good deal from my instructors buddy. A like new Friedman Pink Taco head for $800. I don't really have the extra scratch at the moment, just bought my daughter another car this week. But anyway I could flip a couple pedals I love (Sunface/Vintage RAT) pretty easily to get it, just sold a Honey Bee so have $125 already in the kitty so if I sold the other 2 I would be close enough to get it. I have plenty of dirt/Fuzz pedals but those are a couple of my fav's.....

This was my thought, I can do the RAT thing with my OCD & my other 3 fuzz pedals can cover the Sun Face until I order another one. The Taco usually runs in the $1000-$1200 range used so I probably wouldn't go for it except in a situation like this.

I don't know him personally, he is my instructors friend & I think he is trying to fund another purchase himself so doubt that would be an option.

Well I think I am going to give it a whirl and see if the pedals draw interest, if not oh well I have my Marshall & Mesa still

That is a Grease, The Movie, album which merely included John Travolta as a sure fire method to make him a legend. @Cadorman would never give it away because it is the one that he wants and he is hopelessly devoted to it. However, if he did want to part with it, he could find a buyer like greased lightning.
