What was your First Album ....

What was the first album you owned that made you get into music. Not first song, but actual Album you possessed.
And you cant say ABBA's Waterloo, everybody has that one.

For me it was Billy Squier: Don't Say No
Metallica Black album. I remember plugging away on my Mom's Crown classical acoustic trying to figure out the songs.

Subsequently, it was the next album, Page/Plant No Quarter, that made me want to quit playing. :D

This bad boy. I think I got it around 1974. Changed everything.

First Album I ever owned was "Meet the Beatles" and was a gift from my uncle. I was the ripe age of 7. It got me started!

First Album I bought with my own money was CCR "Pendulum". I was 10.

In between those two I had some winners like "The Partridge Family Album" and "The Cowsills"

Album that had the biggest impact on me was "Paranoid".

Propping up a loose 8 track deck with a book of matches once you wear one out lol
Carefully slicing the label along the 2 long sides and leaving the back part as a hinge. Then modify it so it opens easily and after you removed all the tape and mechanism and installed a piece of tape out front, you had a nice place to store things when the 8 track tape was in your 8 track case in the car.
