Although they continue to market a 24.75 inch scale length, Gibon's guitars don't actually have a 24.75 inch scale length. They haven't used that since the 1950's. It's really closer to 24 9/16 inches.
Scale length matters to some as this guy mentions, it does for him. And it does for me. I can play other scale lengths with no problem. But I prefer 25.5, I just find it more comfortable.

25 1/2 inch, for me.
Anything else just does not work.
I have 6 long scale guitars, and 4 short (24 3/4 inch) guitars.
The long scale guitars go to gigs, the short scale guitars get played at home .
I cannot keep the shorter scale guitars in tune to my satisfaction
