What on earth is going on at Fox News?

I have to ask, because I don't understand. We've just got through half the male staff being slung out because they are sexual predators. Now we have Pete Hegseth - a Harvard and Princeton graduate saying germs don't exist because he can't see them, and he hasn't washed his hands for ten years. OK, it sounds like a fairly serious mental breakdown and you have to feel sorry for the poor guy. But how does anyone turn up for work each day in that condition without at least being called in to HR?

I'm baffled.

Dunno.

I don’t watch the news. I may visit the websites of various sources...Fox, CNN, BBC, Reuters, Wall Street Journal, etc. for information. But I get really bored with the television presentation. I’d like one time to see an interview without the whole affair descending into a contest to see who can talk over the other.

I remember being taught in school that a conversation, even if a debate, required listening to a statement and formulating a response. Interruptions were considered rude and bad form. I assume a similar standard exist(ed?) in the U.K.

No more, apparently.

I get more out of print-based news (even if in digital format).
 
Well, all I know is what I'm reading on news web sites. Now obviously it's the Internet, so it may all be garbage.

Not really out of line for Fox...they are probably closeted Young-Flat-Earthers and definitely in the anti-vax brigade. It's a giant disinformation mill that unfortunately has the attention of large swaths of the American voting public.

FOX news is an outlet for Donald J. you know who. Sean Hannity is his tag team partner during hotel visits in Moscow. It's full of ideology that is not really news. They make up facts to suit their own agenda like with science. We had this kind of crap television station up here called SUN TV. It was FOX News North and I know Session 5 was aware of this airwave violation. Luckily it was shut down...eh Blues Session 5?:)

Come on guys. I started this thread to ask about a specific issue with a specific person. Please don't escalate it to unpleasantness.

So.... some other media post misrepresented (intentional smear?)/ put it out of context to mislead folks?

I have found Mr. Hannity to be credible on the issues he pursues.
He has been a conservative speaker on radio and TV long before Pres. Trump entered the political arena.

I have not seen credible sources show Mr. Hannity is not factually correct in his presentations, beyond some minor detail or argument over specific numbers, etc.

Those that do question his positions do so by character assassination and smear tactics; never a debate over the facts of an issue.
