So what engine would have been stock in a 442? Year and trim dependent.

I looked it up. Up to a 455. Those went like snot!! Dad had a big 1972 Buick LeSabre with a 455. Man did that thing smoke!!

My neighborhood friend growing up always boasted about his Dad's old Buick with a 455. I was like yeah it has to be a big block, the car weights like 9000 pounds! LOL
