I got this idea from one of Bocca69's posts in the Museum collection thread.

I made this a pole with ranges, but feel free to be specific. So, as the title says, indicate your net outlay for gear - purchases less sales, which may even be a negative # if you are a good flipper. Include amps, guitars, cables, tubes, etc., but not repairs or tech fees for mods or tools.

I voted for 30K to 50K. I think I can narrow it down to between 30K to 35K. Easily, 95% of my figures is from the last 15 years of my life... started with the obligatory mid-life crisis, ha ha.

I probably have sold less than $3K in gear. And an honest valuation of my current gear is a minimum of $25K. The guitars hold the values better, then amps, then pedals, then other doodads.

They do seem to be omnipotent, especially these days dont they?
They make you buy a certain kind of underwear, or is it Health Insurance?
Wait I think that project was scrapped.

So not surprised you have a list!

That is sure a tough question. I have 21 guitars now and quite a few amplifiers. I have a mix of high-end guitars with lower-end guitars like Squiers which are great for modding. I'll take a guess at it like counting jelly beans in a jar...maybe $20,000 to $30,000 but I could be off a bit.

I selected $10k-15k. Wait. Is this poll in US, CA, or AU dollars? ;)

It's in golden BitCoins.:)
