What Do You Think of This to Solo Over?

196 BPM, man I'm giving up! :-(
Sure I'm new to this stuff but chord changing exercises at 60 BPM and two octave scales at 100 BPM just about pull me up.

Nahhhh, don't give up. It ain't easy for me either. Two nights ago I couldn't even get my fingers to play the pattern. I'm just to the point that I can play it.....surprising myself actually. It's been a long journey to get to this point.
The sad thing is, in a month from now, I won't even remember how to play that riff unless I play it daily.

Wow, 196 BPM! Not happening for me yet. That's impressive!

And I so understand the not remembering the riff thing! I never remember the things I spend an eternity on. I always have to pull
the TAB sheet back out and sometimes I have to listen to a sample to remember the rhythm...oh well...it's still fun.

Yup, it is fun. Wouldn't do it if it wasn't, rite??

The bpm isn't everything. I was looking over the pdf of the lead on San Ho Zay yesterday, and I thought wow, I don't think I could play it like it's written. I don't have that cadence or that timing. I like the rhythm track you put down, and really like your tone. Just seems like something fun to improv over for me.

Keep it going, I want to here the rest of your lead. It's really sounding great.
