What Do You Think of This to Solo Over?

Stylistically not for me, but if that sort of music is in someone's wheelhouse then that would be a tasty jam-track. Nicely done.

This is week 10 Assignment Part 1. It's a backing track I laid down. I have to solo over it with San Ho Zay by Freddie King!

My fingers are sore from doing it over and over and over again...and I just busted the Volume Pot on my Strat...:BH::BH::BH::oops2:

Ohh, I know what you mean. That's the only way I can learn riffs. Hours and hours.

Tonight, I played just this riff for two hours strait..... 196 bpm

Of course, I didn't break my volume pot. My wife's ears, well that's a different story.

196 BPM, man I'm giving up! :-(
Sure I'm new to this stuff but chord changing exercises at 60 BPM and two octave scales at 100 BPM just about pull me up.
