What are you playing today

A vintage "Orange by Matamp" should be hand wired. The modern Matamp and Green amps still are. After the split between Mathias and Cooper/Orange, comparing a Matamp and Orange would be like comparing apples and rutabagas. They are nowhere near each other in the sonic universe. Matamps sound wonderful, Orange amps, well.... uh... not the same.
That’s great to know, thank you.

That's the Musicmaster with the Lindy Fralin pickup, and an MIJ PB62 (early 60s style P-Bass)
with a DiMarzio through the HX Stomp and RC-3, as usual.

i need to take a decent set of pics ...
of the Musicmaster.
Very cool!
I use the HX Effects for all my effects and needs, super easy to operate and sounds great. It’s small enough to fit in the back of a combo amp, you can have 9 effects running at once, you can hook a bunch to a single switch, you have over 250 pedals with you, and the 4 CM sounds fantastic.

You never cease to amaze me, where did you find those little gems ? Do they work well enough to take camping or something like that.
Being retired I have enough time to go treasure hunting :)
You sure can take them baby guitars to camping and such, they tend to sound like they're on overdrive all the time and never really give a clean sound but that's OK by me.

Wow ... i don't recall ever seeing an L6-S in 'dark mode'!
i'm only familiar with the natural maple body/fingerboard ones that Carlos Santana played for awhile.
Cool!
Sweet an L6! Mine is a 75, the maple with solid PUp covers, the black had these open rail PUps.
Mine sounds just fantastic, quiet ballsy PUps. Small thin neck, love 'em. My first guitar was/is a 78 Goya copy. Love it so much I got an actual Gibby around 2017 or so.

Thunderstorm rolling through right now.
A few flashes of lightning followed by nice rumbling Thunder, with a decent rain.
Its nothing like the storms that blasted through the last few days.

Found a decent Aminor track that sounds pretty good with the weather.
Calm, relaxing, and a nice touch of Overdrive.
