Ya know. While I have a Chinese built Viking… and I really like it. Me being a large percentage Swede…. I really probably should get me a Swedish built Hagstrom.

There’s nothing wrong with mine for sure. Solid. Sounds great. Looks great. I’ve changed nothing on it beyond strings.

It’s funny. I’ll ignore it for long stretches. Primarily playing the Strat and G400. Then I decide to give it some love and play it. Find myself sitting there thinking….. I gotta play this more often.

I may have to sit down and play the Viking tonight. Can do it plugged in or acoustic. Hmmmm…..

Gave my wine red Studio some amp time after a few more cosmetic changes following the Bigsby install.



Put on some reflector knobs and brushed aluminum pickguard - the black plastics were disappearing in the dark red.
Swapped out the standard flat bar Bigsby handle for a narrow vintage handle.
Chrome switch tip and a silver lettering switch ring.
