What are you listening to, metal edition.

Any BabyMetal fans here?

I know they can be a divisive band, but I think they are great. Easily my favorite metal band of the last 10 years. Many still think of them as the little “gimme chocolate” girls, but they are grown up now and still killing it imo

Thank goodness , Racer X toured Japan in 2000. Paul Gilbert , well many American and European bands toured constantly in Japan and the Country has obsessed with metal. I think that's a cool thing.

Are these guys still around? I remember buying their first album when it came out and I never could get into it, but this sounds great! I guess I just wasn't ready for those kind of vocals yet, I'm still not, but it doesn't bother me like it used to.
The brothers hated each other and broke the band up, it became soulfly and then the other brother resurrected the name sepultura but with different voices etc, sepultura is still around, and max cavalera still does a lot of different bands.

Old sepultura is one of my favorite bands ever.
Simple, heavy, hateful, awesome!

Pretty good tune and it's always great to hear KK but I really wish they'd stop with the Judas Priest references and just let the music (and band) stand on it's own.

In most instances I'd agree with the branding thing, but KK's band has the same number of real Judas Priest members as the current Judas Priest does ha ha ha.

KK's - Drummer, guitarist, singer
JP - Singer, bass, drummer.

Also a bit of trivia, KK and the bassist formed and named the band before Glen and Rob were in it.
(Name taken from a Dylan song) The name came through their singer at the time, and it was KK who decided to rename the band Judas Priest.

I think the brand is as much his as anyone's.

I do agree that the band is good enough to call themselves whatever they want and stand alone, perhaps their insecurities got the best of them when they started.
