What are you listening to, metal edition.

Interesting arrangement!
Both really good bands in their own right. They have been putting out really good and consistent albums. Elder singer Nick DiSalvo and guitarist/keyboardist Michael Risberg have left Massachusetts, and been living in Germany for the fast few years. Probably hooked up with Kadaver at festival years ago, and been in contact ever since. In between that, both Elder and Kadaver have put out new records as well as the band Kind. That is the current project with Elder's former bassist Matt Couto, along with Craig Riggs of Roadsaw and Darryl Shepard of Milligram, Slapshot, and many others.

My wife went to Mongolia a few years ago for a work related event. She said she saw a Mongolian folk band playing there, and when buying their CD asked if they were also in a metal band because they looked like they were, or should be. They said yes, and that there is actually a big metal scene in Ulaanbaatar. Don't know if any of the guys in The Hu were who she saw, but I definitely need to chase that rabbit hole a bit more, because most of what I've heard has been pretty good.
