What are you listening to, metal edition.

Been ripping discs and streaming these to my stereo (listening to them).

Good stuff, There are of course lots of great Priest albums , there are 3 you must get.
Stained Class, Hell Bent for Leather and the Priest pinnacle Pain Killer. Pain Killer is Metal Masterpiece.
Yea, Painkiller came today and I just ripped it. I'll get the others. Thanks. I know you are the Priest connoisseur. (y)

UPDATE: Ordered the other two. Coming tomorrow. Thanks again.

Halford is out of this world insane on vocals on Painkiller.
Tipton was at the top of his game as well, amazing solo’s . According to what I read in KK’s book Painkiller live shows didn’t sell out in around 92’ , they got paired with bands that Priest fans didn’t care for.

I saw them that year and in San Diego they were on a bill with Megadeth, what a show.
KK had drawn up a resignation but Halford went before he did so I guess he held on for a while longer.

I didn't know Tipton could shred like that. That's some serious ...shredding. I was wondering who that may have been playing like that.

How'd I do...

Yes, he really did his homework on that recording. Above and beyond.
Stained Class is interesting. More like vintage Priest. Kinda Disco like a bit. Lol. I expected it to be more ferocious like Painkiller or Firepower.

Priest is interesting because everything is great to listen to regardless if it's one of the catchy hits. All the CDs just crank no matter what.

Thanks for the recommendation, iBs. :thumb:
