What are you listening to, metal edition.

Had this album on hard repeat for years when it came out. Still listen to various tracks on the daily. The opening riffs is one my top 25 riffs of all time.

I was at this tour actually lol me, another friend we had and @froman5150 ( my wife was there too but we hadn't met yet, though got together about 6 months later by random chance). July 23rd, 2005 at Post Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA. We missed the opening two bands, Trivium and Black Dahlia Murder, but arrived as The Haunted took the stage and Bury Your Dead Followed right after.

Still one of the best concert lineups Ive ever saw and at like $30 a ticket, you couldnt beat it with a stick. In order were: Trivium, Black Dahlia Murder, The Haunted, Bury Your Dead, Wicked Wisdom (only band that truly sucked, as it was fronted by Jada Pinkett Smith: Will Smith's wife), Gizmachi, Soilwork, It Dies Today, Arch Enemy, A Dozen Furies, Mastadon, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Rob Zombie, In Flames, Black Label Society, Shadows Fall, Mudvayne and then the titans of Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath co-headlining.

Hotter than the hubs of hell that day, but we had an absolute blast. Got free packs of cigarettes from Camel at their Pleasure Zone Lounge while we drank up booze on their nice Zebra Print couches. Got into a mosh pit during Mastadon by accident and kicked the :poo: out of some posers who came swinging with their fists. @froman5150 set a record on a punching bag machine after he got drunk. Got a massive contact high during "Sweet Leaf" when Sabbath were playing. Great day lol

If only concerts today could put that many big names together for that price! The last of the good ol days
