What are you GAS-ing for?

I'm GASing for a P-Bass... There's even less choice in lefty basses than guitars. There's a somewhat roadworn 2008 American Standard someone's selling but as a matter of principle I must get rid of some other stuff first...

With the exception of that black headstock, it looks identical to the one I'm thinking about. It's supposed to be a 70's type and that's why I was asking if yours was one.
Mitch's is technically a 2017 Flying V T model. Mine is a 2018 and the only non-custom shop model offered in 2018. That new 70s V is cool. I think it has a new 70s Burstbucker set. Too bad they don't make a lefty, but at least they are doing the 70s Explorer that way.

Those Vs really goose my GAS, but not in serious hey i might buy one way, at least not right now.

I'm kinda back on the Rangemaster and early boosts or overdrives type thing.
I got a cheapy Klon clone I really like recently.

I got a Rangemaster type in pedal configuration. Either it just did not sound good or I could not figure how to work it into my rig, and returned it.
I am familiar with how it is used and watched plenty of demos.

Almost got a DOD 250 clone but the builder was out of stock, considered his MXR Distortion +.

I’ve responded once already, but I’ve pondered the question some more.

Honestly, I just have a few unfinished gear-related projects and plans I’d like to complete. After that, I really think I’d be fine with never buying any more gear.

Of course, as always, I reserve the right to be fickle and change my mind at any time!
