What Are You Doing Right Now?

That’s never fun. At least you didn’t face plant. When I have to bring heavy stuff to the back yard, I have to go down a slope that drops 6 feet…in the space of 24 feet. Wheelbarrows full of loam will want to move quickly…gravity is a harsh mistress.
I wimped out when I bought our wheelbarrow a couple years ago. It has two wheels on it rather than the single. Doesn't make 300lbs of black dirt push any easier... but it doesn't tip over while pushing it. Either way. Couple dozen loads pushed across our yard kicks this old mans butt.

Wheelbarrow observation: You can leave a wheelbarrow outside in plain sight for all to see. It will never get stolen.

This morning was beautiful out!
I drove up to the pines (about 30 minutes on the freeway from my house)
Set up my first stand right at first light...nada.

Drove down a (as my grandpa would say) " Ruff-Sunna-bichen-road"

Set up another stand....

Played my newest MFK call named "girl fight" on my FoxPro and called in this big old coyote!
Boom, let the firing pin drop on my little PSA suppressed 300blackout.
Blasted him through the guts....which isn't my preferred landing spot, but he dropped and spun a couple times and that was that.

Saving some deer and elk babies.

Glorious day!

I made about 6 more stands and didn't call anything else in, but I did hear a mountain lion screaming.... Uploading that video now.

I was only half a mile off the freeway as the crow flies, so you hear trucks all the time.
