We share cooking and laundry. But kitchen cleanup duty falls on me. She cleans the toilets. It’s a fair trade off.

Had Turkey yesterday. Having Turkey leftovers today! Got to get a full belly before the Blue Jays game, starting at 8pm tonight.. GGGOO JAAAYYYS!!

I walked in from my 12 hours at middle school, pulled my shirt off, took 2 Aleve and washed it down with about 5 shots of Skrewball, then poured myself a proper Bourbon and cream soda.... My back and day both suck.... Pretty fierce.

Starting to relax a bit now....

Some days you're the hammer and some days you're the nail.

As far as pain meds. Aleve. Ibuprofen. Tylenol. Like candy to my system. Aspirin is about all that truly work for me and I can’t take it anymore. Spent the weekend in ICU years ago with a bleeding ulcer.

Watching Top Gun for the 12th or 15th time.

I just watched Terminator 2 last night. Top Gun is in my favorite top 5 movies of all time.

I feel the need for speed….

I do take it easy. Been trying like crazy to heal up. I am doing overall better. Just have to make it another month until surgery. Then I can heal again and hopefully get back to normal ish...
I hate taking any kind of meds... This back broken, nerves smashed flat, discs ruptured thing is kickin my butt ha ha. But I will prevail.

Epsom salt hot bath soak.... Bourbon is helping somewhat... I'm listening to some old Fastway and just trying to relax a bit.....

I just swap out the summer air in the tires for winter air. Also while I’m at it change to winter blinker fluid.
