Drove to Rhode Island this morning and spent the afternoon boating in the area of Galilee and Point Judith where lobsters roam free....until they don't. Great day on the water!

What are you hunting?
I'm spending my last few days on vacation in New Mexico. Seen a lot of areas, neighborhoods and homes for sale. Eaten a lot of the local foods. Every eating establishment, even McDonald's offers your choice of red or green chili. If you want both, you ask for Christmas. The largest hot air balloon fiesta in the world starts in 3 days. Today is Mrs WavMixer's birthday and she will be deciding what is on the agenda today.

There goes that new guitar you were thinking about buying. It's always a Bummer when appliances fail you like that. They're EVIL.
Well. Wasn’t a new guitar on the horizon anyway. So no loss there. All our appliances have passed the 20 year mark. So….. most likely living on borrowed time.

Being surrounded by timber has its perks. Never ending supply of wildlife passing thru for one.

Sitting here on the patio. Hear rustling in the timber. Look up to see a fuzzy white tail go jumping thru the trees…. Followed by my dog bursting out of the tree line on one side of the yard and busting back in on the other side. Full gallop chasing said fuzzy white tail. Good doggy.

Birthday breakfast with my parents to start the day, the new waitress was carrying all 3 (very large ) drinks to the table and stopped suddenly, sending all 3 very cold and very large drinks right into my lap! Ha ha ha whoo hoo... Just got home and took my second shower of the day.

Not fun for sure…… About all you can do when that happens is laugh about it. Things happen and in the general scheme of life…. This is nothing. Be a good story to tell for the next several birthday.

I know Steve, you wouldn’t want the pots that Seymour Duncan came out with (circuit board) but I might try them one day.I'm working on a guitar. It's an addiction. She's back on the bench, my first LP and first refinish. I've had nothing but trouble with the wiring on this guitar, it's always died on me and I've always said it was cursed. Well, it's time to break the curse.
I hope works out for you. I have all of the stock pots that came out of my 1990 Gibson Studio. They are old but seem to work. I would not say they are perfect.
If you need them , let me know.

I have a super duper outdoor project.
So, back yard is sloped and partially useless.
I got my hands on 6 pallets of landscape retaining wall blocks and they are not your average Depot blocks.
8 “ x 15 1/2” I believe.
The weather pattern is changing and it likely will be the biggest badest project I ever took on.
Excavating tons of dirt by hand and moving a truck load of gravel.
I already moved 3 pallets by hand loading on and then off of the truck. That is 3 tons of block.
