What Are You Doing Right Now?

This is the bag I am checking at American airlines in the morning, and then I fly United an the way back next week.

We should all know what United does to guitars, if you don't check YouTube.

Best of luck.

Heading out to the guitar shop with my son and his amp. He said it's not sounding right after plugging his bass into it... It's a 40w Blackstar (transistor, not tube.)... I personally can't work out how plugging a bass in would damage it, but what do you do?

Unfortunately, “guitar amps” often are not designed to amplify bass frequencies. When you try to make them do this, the speakers cone travel can exceed their spec’s…causing damage. Cone cry, low output etc…can show themselves in the aftermath.

Guitar through a bass amp- can be cool. If there is a tweeter/horn, you may want to shut it down if possible(a lot have switches or attenuators to allow use of fuzz and distortion with bass), but otherwise you probably won’t do any damage.
(I’m actually really digging my little Ampeg practice bass amp for both guitar and bass. When run with another guitar amp, or two.)

Bass through a guitar amp- kind of a ticking time bomb in many cases. It may sound good for a bit, but damage from the longer cone excursions can cause damage to speakers that are not designed for the task.

Today I went to the guitar center in Little Rock.
I'm out here in AR visiting my brother and family.
I was pleasantly surprised by the guitars they had stocked, plenty of Gibson and Jackson
The guitar center in PHX AZ is literally the ugliest fenders you could ever see.... An entire wall of nothing but.... Zero Gibby's there outside of the few in the special $10k and up room.
I played a really nice flamed std through a little katana and woke that store up ha ha ha.

Just picked up my drum kit rented it out, the cruse ships are downtown thousands of people wandering around aimlessly
Just got my first modeling condenser microphone I'm blown away 18 different high end studio microphones just by it's self cleanest I have ever used
made my AKG condenser's sound just OK happy they are normally $695 each got a pair for $400 new in the case full warranty.
