Seriously!
It's in his lungs, ribs, liver, and lymph nodes!
He had to have his lung drained of fluids because of the pain.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the hospital letting him go home instead of hospice! WTF?!!???
Now he's on SERIOUS meds and he wants to work on critical gear!
That ain't happenin'... Tough convos comin' up...

Last night my other guitarist and I worked through 5 songs with our new singer.
She did really well!
Coming from an opera background, one of her challenges is timing.... Metal isn't bound by any rules, like opera is. So we are teaching her lyrics and finding new notes and using her toolbox to play my songs, it's an enjoyable process.
We have a brand new song to write lyrics and a melody for... I want to include her in that as much as possible. I'm really excited to have fresh blood in the band.

Making radical decisions to not work on cars when they lie. We show up- cars are half apart & if we touch it. The car that probably never ran before we got there becomes our issue.
Also. people calling with fobs & keys bought off internet..if they only knew how critical what chip & fcc id # it is. Thing is my pricing is the same if we provide it & program. But we will chop em up till it works.. Intell for proper part is on us.

Going to be warm out, after FedEx debacle yesterday..feeling a 5.0 speed run, gotta watch tho, frame needs linked. am slamming the slapper pad when catching gears
Blowing leaves. Lots of leaves. Going on at least two weeks now since I started blowing leaves. Love our property. House is totally surrounded by timber. I do not love it for those three weeks or so in the fall when I have to move leaves off the grass. Rough guess is we have at least 2+ dozen oak trees dropping leaves on the open part of the yard. That doesn’t include the maples…. Buckthorn…. Box elder….. hickory….. and whatever the heck else we have growing. Fun times boys and girls.

When I bought the blower, quickly realized battery last about 20 minutes. Well…. That’s no good. I should get a spare. Nope. After 20 minutes this old man is good till the battery gets recharged.
This is my back yard. Photo isn’t very good… but that’s about 60+ feet of leaves average 3 feet deep. Leaves are still falling. And this is just the back yard.

Getting ready to head into downtown Chicago to go to Chicago Symphony Hall. Oldest granddaughter plays trombone in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. It's a big deal. Sounds like formal attire is required.
Edit: Sorry. That's tomorrow night. Tonight same young lady is playing a concert in Elmhurst with the Illinois Music Education Association. Last year she played in this one, which is a district location. Then later in the year she tried out and made ILMEA All State which was held in Peoria. She's pretty good.
