No frost here yet, just typical weird New England weather. Yesterday was sunny and 80, today cloudy, drizzly, and 52.

It's getting colder now...
Started out at 8C, and returned home at 11C. I hauled out the heated gloves and charged them up. Three layers of long sleeves got me going.
What a beautiful sunny day for another quickie to Mud bay and back, around 25km.
This is a view from the bottom of a switchback that gets you up and over the train tracks beside the greenway to Hwy 10 and the South entrance to Watershed Park...
The path down to Colebrook road...
The tide is way, way out...
These look to be the elevated walkway/trails that have been worked on for many months...
Don't let the new green grass fool you. Sections are VERY muddy and my bike was a mess. Fun though, and I probably should not have been on them if the city had their way...
I'll clean up the mess later...

Had an amazing day. My buddy and I both knocked down a Coues buck! Pretty rare to double up like that.
Long long day, many, many, miles, and hours of binoculars.....lots of hard work... A few dulled knives, a difficult pack out in some of God's most hostile terrain...
And next weekend some seriously amazing BBQ!

The guy I practice with got shingles recently. Knocked him out for about 10 weeks. Enough to get me to get the shot soon.
Truthfully. Other than a sore shoulder from the shots. I haven’t reacted to any of the Covid shots. Didn’t react to the seasonal flu shot I got last year…. Which was my first ever flu shot. The only time I had what might be a reaction was the second Covid shot back 2021. But that day I went in for the shot with the beginnings of a migraine. By afternoon it was full blown and I felt like warmed over crap. Was it the migraine? Was it the shot? Combination? That one took a couple days to feel normal again.
Now. Getting three at once. We’ll see how the body reacts.
