What Are You Doing Right Now?

Leaves have been falling 4 weeks earlier than previous years, here in my neck of the woods, not where my home is, but at my trailer which is an hour ten minutes North of here. Oh Oh..:D
Ours really started coming down this past week. Our house is surrounded by timber. Once it gets serious…. We’ll have 6” of leaves covering the grass.

Does that mean a longer winter ?
It’s still in the 90’s F. here in SoCal

Well at the trailer Mitch I have some huge pine trees. And what I have been told by fellow campers, if the pine cones are close to the top of the tree, it means lots of snow..I guess some of them will find out this winter. As you know I am in the banana belt of Ontario,

The weather guys are predicting El Nino winter for us which will be a mild winter. Will we get more snow here than normal, will have to wait and see.

Thats too hot in SoCal for me at this time of the year.

I'm on a Coues hunt. Here are a few pics I've snapped this weekend.

Taking a break from stuff around the house while a couple of loaves of bread rise. Today was the first beautiful Saturday in New England in what seems like months. Or, at least a Saturday I could spend at the house. Did a bunch of yard work and two trips to the dump. Then have been doing stuff like washing (inside and out) the Honda Element, since my wife had my Audi. Went through the fluids too. Wrote a stack of checks, and have just been dealing with general crap to catch up on because I'm home. Tomorrow, have to visit mum since she's finally home from the hospital, and do some work on her house. Trying to prepare myself for neck surgery Monday. Looking forward to the "Milk of Amnesia", but not the surgery part. My brain is in a thousand places right now.

Yikes. That’s some full day!! All I got done was take the dog to the Vet. Cut up a tree that had fallen. Blow some leaves around the yard. Compared…. Feel like a slacker.

Good luck with your surgery.
