My evo has 392 hp with 406 torque at the wheels. I drove it off the showroom floor in 2005. Soon as I got it home I replaced the injectors, intake, exhaust with cat delete, SAFC for fuel managment, manual boost control and a tune by Dr. Gray. I've got videos posted here of me spanking a fully track prepped 911 and a vette at Willow Springs in my 4 door daily driven grocery getting evo.
The Evo was a better platform for tuning than Subaru. Subaru builds a better car overall. imwo.
I kept my engine mods more conservative - streetable, but about 100 more horsepressure than stock. Probably much for my average autocrossing skills. TD04 with a 19T compressor wheel. 21 psi from 3200 up to 7100 rpm redline. Is not slow.
Swapped out suspension components until I hit a good balance between streetable and the ability to dance. I will never do this to a car again.
I no longer flog it, rarely using the maximum boost.
Estimated HP: Virtual Dyno 1.2.7 average of 4 WOT runs as of April 2015: 284 awhp, 273 awdtq
