I think I’m done with pedals. There are a couple that intrigue me, but can’t be bothered spending the money. Maybe an expression pedal for the Vibe would be a good thing to have.

those pickups were custom made by a friend over at ST. i absolutely love them.Hmmmm...staggered pole piece magnets...many wolftones do you have.

They do sound very good indeed!@@! Impressive!!!
I've never been able to use the staggered magnets. Single notes around the 15th to 19th frets typically 'warbler' or oscillate, unless you drop them low, which kills the output.
As you know, the tall g string pole was designed for a wound g string, right???
I'm using these bar magnet/screw pole piece hum canceling single coils made by Artec.

I can raise them to almost touching the strings, without any wolftones.
But, those pickups your buddy whipped up really sounded good...
They work just fine with the 7¼" radius fretboard they were designed for. Flat boards, pfft...
Stratitis, which you describe, is due to the pickups being too close to the string.
That was the first pedal I ever built.

Don't mind me. I'm just going to eat all this paper....
