Here's a burger joint I've never tried before. It's a little bit exciting to be getting something, anything, other than what we already have around here. I checked them out online and I have to say, looks pretty good. Of course, I rarely meet a burger I don't like...

Anyone been to a Fatburger? Any good?

Yum! When I retired five years ago and moved from the Chicago area down to a little teeny tiny town in Southern IL. I made the discovery of a hallmark burger joint called Bill's Toasty. This place has been here for over 61 years and I gotta say, I have never had a burger as good as this! This double cheeseburger is only the regular size, it comes in a small, regular and large. It comes with a choice of two sides and it's a heart attack waiting to happen! Yummm!

Well now... I'm not a fan of fat burger. It's been over a decade since I've been to one and I'm a burger fan. Perhaps I'll try one again to see why I was not impressed.

I think part of my dissatisfaction was the shredded lettuce. I prefer my lettuce to be whole leaf.

Ok whew..I think I can deal with that...I was afraid you were going to say something like "they slather a putrid signature sauce on that ruined it for me" or something like that lol

My cousin in Ca. loves Fatburger. She raves about it and is always posting her & the dogs lunch pics on Farcebook.

My all time favorite is still the porcelain palace, the mighty White Castle.
They disgust many.
It's an acquired taste, but if you like em, it's for life.
Unfortunately they haven't made it to the swamp.
I have to travel to the great frozen north to get my fix.

That Fords Garage that Adrian posted is crazy good.
We've lunched there many times.

Culvers Butter Burger is wonderful as well.

Now I want a Fatburger too...

I've been to a White Castle only one time years ago, and I don't even remember where it was. I must not have been too awful impressed because I don't even remember the food, just that I was there once
