Id do it with say a Squire or low end IbenHad such ---but not with any of my vintagie corcksniffery beat to crap old school Gibbos or PEaveys
 
The idea came when they had the big flood in Nashville. Apparently the paints got swirled around by the water and dried like that on stuff, so the inspiration. I think they are ugly as hell but they sold every one of them that they made, so somebody musta liked them.
 
I dig the swirled look - always have - and I like the look of that Irish Spring dip for that partscaster. I also liked the green Flood LP.
Would I do that to one of my guitars? Nope.

Still, gaudy isn't entirely out of the question for me - am thinking about having one of my Strats done in purple sparkle.
