It's not that, I have an issue with el84s that I won't get into, I just won't ever own another el84 amp. It's too bad, it looks great, too. It would be a perfect little grab and go amp which I've been GASing for for a long time.

It can be louder than you would think for 2 watts, but the big one has the bass to rattle the windows, even on 0.5watts.

Yes, there is something to be said for speaker size. I have a little 30 watt amp with a 3" speaker but it doesn't get very loud. I've been thinking about adding a jack for an external speaker.

Most of the time they're plugged into the computer these days, I rarely use the speakers, less oven door from The Management that way.

How much you got up that way? Hell my cable/internet has been out since last night (using my cell phone Wifi) so I swapped speakers so I can use my 2x12 with my Marshall & had it fired up at 9am this morning

about 6 the first round, then sleet then another 8. If the sleet didn't happen would of been a good one. 9a.m. jams are inspiring !! nice
